Maurice Mcleod is an experienced voluntary sector leader and one of the country’s pre-eminent anti-racism experts, bringing leadership, communication, and vision from a 30-year career in politics, media and changemaking.

As a former CEO of Race on the Agenda, Director of Media Diversified and a local politician, Maurice operates at the coalface of political decision-making at both a local and national level, with particular expertise in race, class, housing, and criminal justice.

Maurice has a long track record of bringing people and communities together in collaborative and effective partnerships, focussed on delivering on joint objectives and strategic goals.

As a senior media professional with decades of experience of delivering messages about equality and class to a wide variety of audiences, Maurice has worked to amplify the voices of Black, working class, and marginalised communities for his entire career.
