Hi! My name is Osas Ogbeide, and I am a 3rd year medical student at UCL. I have a passion for helping others and sharing opportunities that I had the benefit of being exposed to.

I joined the She Is You Youth Leadership board and have had the opportunity to build connections between young women and inspirational women in their local communities.

This is also why I founded Medic Mentality, a non-profit organisation which provides tailored mentoring to prospective medical students from disadvantaged backgrounds. I’m the creative director for both Medic Mentality and the Black Medic Plexus – an organisation that is cultivating a supportive community amongst black medical students in the UK. I enjoy working on projects I love while exploring my creative side.
