I have always written. Even when not writing, I am thinking about writing!
To paraphrase George Orwell, I could say ‘I want to expose a lie ‘, but I want to tell my truth.
The written word has power, vulnerability, grace, horror, truth, lies, understanding, memories to come and memories disturbed by our imagination.
I write because I have to. To say it’s everything is extreme, yet it is everything.
Without writing there is no meaning to my world.
Without writing I would not understand myself; I would not be able to find my place.
